Connect has twenty years’ experience of providing a specialist service
of high quality psychotherapy which supports clients to develop the
emotional, psychological and practical resources to live independently
of mental health services.
We offer
· Intensive
psychotherapy using a variety of modalities

groups and practical living skills
· Thorough
psychological assessment using MMPI-2 – for admission to our service or as a
standalone assessment

needs including Personality Disorders

with a long history of psychiatric admissions

behaviour (including substance misuse and eating disorders)
The Service

runs seven days per week as a residential service, and Monday-Friday as a day service

for therapy tailored to the individual client

Connect is based in two interconnected Victorian houses in Moseley, Birmingham, near the city centre and within reach of many local amenities. We participate in peer-reviews within the Community of Communities Framework, part of the research unit of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. Connect is a member of the Association of Therapeutic Communities.
